Hi, I’m Kathy, a Mom, Nana, middle child in a family with five sibs, lover of antiques and anything that transforms a house into a home.
Throughout my life, I have been creating and fashioning my own nest…and helping others to do the same. My Mom was my first mentor in all things home. By her example, my sisters and I learned how to decorate, cook, garden, entertain and care for a home.
In high school, I spent most evenings and weekends measuring and selling fabric for a local retailer of fabrics and crafts. During that time I perfected my sewing skills, making clothes (suits for my dad!) and home décor. Later, after my children were in school, I spent over 20 years teaching courses in fashion, interior design, catering, nutrition, budgeting and other life skills.
These days, my love for all things vintage and the hunt for unusual and fabulous finds is a passion I have pivoted into an online business. A collector of antique and vintage white linens for over 30 years, I also love and collect china, silver and silverplate, textiles and so much more. These elegant, pre-loved, vintage-chic collections, which I use to bring interest and character into my own home, set my home decor apart from the expected by mixing old and new for a truly modern and eclectic style that translates into a warm, welcoming place to live and offer hospitality to family and friends. By the way, when I am not out antiquing, I love to garden, read, bake cookies, explore all the beauty Colorado has to offer, and of course, dote on my adorable grandbabies!
